look of the day - inspired by lisa eldridge's cara delevingne video

I was going to take more inspiration from tumblr pictures today, but Lisa Eldridge, a very well-known makeup artist who has worked with countless celebrities, just posted a video today about the look she did for Cara Delevingne at the W Magazine party.

I tweaked the look only just a bit; Lisa used a smoky, green-tinted silver for the majority of the lid, but I used a shade that was similar for the outer corner and crease instead, opting for a vibrant silver for the lid. Plus, it gave me an excuse to use a Sugarpill shadow I don't often reach for. I also skipped the false lashes because I still haven't gotten a new lash glue since my old one separated and turned into a gross mess.

This look is definitely meant for a party and I love it! I obviously don't have anywhere to go tonight, so you're getting shots of me wearing my Next to Normal hoodie instead. I can't get over how perfect this is for fall--metallics are in. I don't usually wear silver eyeshadow, either, so that says volumes about this.

    1. Thank you so much! Sugarpill is one of my favourite brands and Oslo Cosmetics is definitely an indie brand to watch.
